You can lose your business data from fire, power surges, burglary or even a common hard-drive crash. Of course, the best solution is prevention.

Usually, it is recommended that you use a combination of offsite data storage, a regular data backup system or redundant mirrored hard drives. There are also services to restore hard drives that have been erased or formatted. However, these services are considerably more costly that data backup.
